Syterskalet is changing its name to Syterbyn

Following discussions this spring, we have decided to change our name from Syterskalet to Syterbyn. The name change takes effect on June 26, 2026.

After careful consideration and recent discussions, we have decided to change our name from Syterskalet to Syterbyn. The name change is effective as of today, June 26, 2026.

Syterbyn is the same area, the same vision, and the same community as before. Only the name is changing! Syterbyn feels clearer, more location-specific, and easier to distinguish from other places in the area moving forward.

Welcome to Syterbyn!
